In McKinney, the breakfast crowd peaks on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so a weekday visit or an early arrival avoids the line. Across Texas, regional staples show up on the menu: biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles in the South, breakfast tacos and burritos in Texas and the Southwest, green chile in New Mexico, and Hawaiian plate breakfasts in the islands. Check the listing for hours, whether the restaurant takes reservations and its Google rating and reviews, and note that many diners are cash-friendly but nearly all take cards. Counter seating usually moves faster than a table for one or two.

McKinney is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and McKinney follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The chicken bowl was delicious. I loved it—very healthy, full of flavor, and tasted homemade. I recommend it.🤤🍲

The menu is extensive. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious and the coffee was endless. We didn't feel rushed and were able to relax and chat while enjoying our drinks. We can't wait to go back to this location to try something new.

We noticed Café Brazil had only been open for less than a month, so we decided to give it a try even though the reviews seemed to be pretty mixed, mostly because of the service. When we first walked in, one of the younger girls working there looked like she absolutely did not want to be there. We tried not to judge too quickly, but unfortunately our first impression ended up being right. About 10 minutes after our server had already taken our drink order, she came over to also take our order. We pointed to our server, Franco (I think that was his name), and explained that he had already taken our drink order. She mumbled something under her breath, rolled her attitude into the interaction, and walked away. The whole exchange was awkward and made us feel uncomfortable. After reading the other reviews, I honestly think this is exactly the employee people are talking about. If she had been our server for the entire meal, this review probably wouldn't have been five stars. Thankfully, Franco completely turned our experience around. He was friendly, attentive, made great recommendations, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a good experience. He deserves recognition because he was

We stopped by the new Café Brazil in McKinney, and I believe they were still in a soft opening. The location is convenient, tucked into a shopping center right off Highway 75, and we were excited to give it a try. We’ve been loyal Café Brazil customers for many years, so we had high hopes for this new location. Unfortunately, our first experience left a lot to be desired. We waited nearly 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged or greeted us. It appeared the hostess was also responsible for bussing tables, and she honestly came across as someone who hated her job. The service throughout our visit was slow and not very welcoming. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, yet we still waited quite a while for our food. Once our drinks were empty, it took about five minutes before anyone came by with refills, despite there being very few customers in the restaurant. I’m not sure what the situation was, but the level of service just wasn’t what we’ve come to expect from Café Brazil. To their credit, the manager did stop by our table and asked my fiancé if he’d like a refill. He also suggested trying the hibiscus tea, which ended up being really good and was a nice recommendation. For the

We are so excited that Cafe Brazil has returned to McKinney! Got a chance to go there for our first time. Great food, quiet atmosphere, comfortable booths, amazing food selection (for breakfast and lunch menu, including coconut chicken salad!) & of course, really, really good coffee. (5 different ones to choose from… help yourself) I had the breakfast bowl my wife had the chicken crêpes. The highlight for me is the Morning Glory muffins which are baked fresh in their bakery in Deep Ellum… these are legit. Over by the coffee are samples of their coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and morning glory muffins. My wife just said, “This place is going to get busy.” Very kid friendly. Jordon, our waiter was the best! Five stars.
